hmmm…maybe you could observe the good players in action and try to determine what makes them so good. also, try to ask tips to your coach and of course; practise, practise, practise.

You can going to the volleyball camp that you can improve your skills lot. Or you will going to the camp that the chinese coach is good at the volleyball that he/she was the player, or either he/she is the coach at world championship.

You can show your skills to the coach then they can help you to improve your skills.

Found the volleyball camp in your local or found the chinese coach in your local too.

Jumping is the most important skill in the game of volleyball if you are a hitter or blocker. Having fast feet is just as important. has a variety of pylometric drills to help you become a better volleyball player. Talented also helps.

Pepper, *bump, set, hit over and over and over again*. It’s a lot easier if you have a partner.

the biggest thing to remember is not to swing your arms. you have to square up the ball (dont come at in an angle) and use your legs. you should just bend your knees and then go up. swinging your arms will cause the ball to go elsewhere. if someone is spiking the ball at you def dont swing arms, just absorb the impact. thats all for now…..hope it helps, btw i coach

Yeah, everyone knows you have to practice hard in order to be good, and usually they tell you to practice EVERYTHING, like spiking, passing, setting, and blocking. Well, I play on a club volleyball team and I also went to the Junior Olympics in Salt Lake City with my team, so I have a lot of instruction myself. I say, go to any camps or clinics that you are interested in. All it can do is help. And, work on one thing at a time. Maybe focus on passing for a week and nothing else. It may get boring, but trust me, IT WILL HELP! I play libero, and there were some practices I didn’t play a minute of offense at all. But in the end, it paid off and I am a very good passer(if i do say so myself…lol) And don’t look at other players compared to you. I did that at first and it made me look horrible. But now I can say, she may be a better hitter than me, but i can pass better. So, anyway, I hope this helps you!

work on your vertical jump, that would always help. there is a program called jump circut that works wonders.

practice there is no easy way around it

Horse giRL on 27 January, 2009 at 8:54 pm #

Well if you want to get REALLY good then buy a backboard and put it up somewhere in your yard. Then mark a spot on it and bump or serve over that line. Of course if you don’t want to spend the money then if you have a volleyball you can throw it up and bump it as many times as you can, try to beat your old score every time.
