(indoor volleyball) Brazil WAS the greatest team to ever step foot on a volleyball court and held that reputation for about 6 years. Once the team lost their setter Ricardo, that marked the end of a great dynasty. Brazil practically won every competition up to the World Cup in 2007. Without Ricardo, Brazil looks horrible. Bruno might be able to step it up but when London rolls around, the greats that made Brazil so good (Giba, Dante, Gustavo, Andre Heller etc.) will probably be retired.

USA owned 2008, I’m not denying that, but don’t push it. Maybe they got tired of losing to us and worked hard to get that gold. They deserved it.
Dude, I’m not making stuff up, this is not something I’m saying because I’m sad Brazil lost. I’m proud of their silver. USA really was better.

OK, I give up. You see, Phelps has lost, Jordan has lost… I rest my case.
Face it, your team can beat us once, twice, but they will never BE us.
With the exception of the World League, we were always in the top 3 for a WHOLE decade, something your team just can’t have.
Brazil- Ricardo= Silver medal
USA- Stanley= maybe not even bronze
Stanley was the only one with individual awards, while we had 4 guys in 2004.
