Rosalie asked:

I am planning on trying out for my school volleyball team but I have no one to practice with.
Any tips on getting better at volleyball, or practicing by yourself?
Thanks

You might want to get a volleyball, and practice your ‘receiving’. Try digging and bumping the ball yourself, or practice against the wall.

You can also try setting the wall at different heights, or get a medicine ball to set.

You can try to practice spiking by hitting the ball against the ball.

As for physical training, you can do push ups, skipping.

practice with a wall. if you’re practicing setting, you can bump it up, then set it, then bump, vise versa.
&if u can, its better to practice with someone or a group because when you’re playing volleyball, you need teamwork &you need to call the ball &stuff. you also dont know where the balls gonna be, so playing with a group is better

That makes practice a lot harder! I personally set the ball to myself, up into the air. I practice setting in different sequences. High and low sets. Also you, can bump into the air or off a wall to yourself. If you are a spiker, work on your jumping abilities. If you play backrow, then work on getting low and diving. Lastly you can ust work on serving in your yard, Overhand or underhand!
