What kind of sand can I use for a volleyball court?

My house has a volleyball court and every winter the rain washes away a lot of sand. It hasn’t been replenished in a while, and the last time it was just with really course construction sand. I don’t need a tournament level court. Just something we can play in that won’t compact too much. Also what kind of places provide sand?

i can tell you this, construction sand is not clean at all. any sand that’s washed really. i know they sell play sand in bags, but you ll need a whole lot more than that. i know our local high school has a sand court, if yours does, call their maintenance dept, I’m sure they ll fill you in on where they get it
